You’ve got questions.
We’ve got answers. We’ve assembled some of the most common questions asked by prospective residents, their families, and friends. But if you have a question you don’t see addressed here (and we bet you do), just let us know. We’ll get you a reply quickly—we might even add it to this page. Or just give us a jingle at 541-857-7214 and let’s talk!
It’s surprisingly simple: It’s a community of people who are 65 years old or better who want to thoroughly enjoy life right now but also want to have a smart plan if they need care in the future. Life. Plan. Community. You get all three.
Are you kidding us? Here’s the thing about our Life Plan Community: We have people on staff to handle the work you don’t want to do (yard work, house work, maintenance work, kitchen work). We also have people on staff to empower you to do what you want to do (fitness experts, culinary staff, lifestyle directors—that’s just a short list). You will be shocked to discover everything there is to do here. What you won’t be surprised by is how easy it is to meet people and feel part of the community.
No one has a Magic 8 Ball that says, “MOVE NOW.” But there’s a saying that it’s better to move one year too early than move one day too late. That means, don’t wait until you need care to make a move. You’ve just missed out on the perks of an independent lifestyle. And there are a lot of perks.
Who are you calling old?! The people who live here may have some miles on them, but they have no plans to head to the scrap heap of life. These people are constantly doing stuff. Going places. Hanging out. Laughing. Learning. Eating and drinking and partying and not regretting one darn thing. They don’t think of themselves as old fuddy-duddies, because they’re not. If you think of yourself that way, maybe this isn’t the place for you.
Now you’re asking the right questions! Residents do whatever they want to do: We’ve got sports courts galore (bocce, pickleball, tennis). More clubs and resident-led groups than you can shake a stick at (at last count we had 100). Gobs of common spaces to enjoy (golf course, art studio, gardens and walking paths, dog park, hobby shop, wood shop, library). Lifelong learning classes (along with seminars, guest lecturers, and special speaker series). We don’t have enough space on this page to tell you what people do all day, but we can tell you what they don’t do: They don’t sit around waiting for life to happen.
Well, at last count, more than 1,000 smart, funny, intelligent, interesting-as-heck people who all have life stories to share while they’re not out and about living life. Chances are good you’ll find a good friend or 10 in the bunch within your first few months of living here, too. Come on. Become the 1,001st resident. You won’t regret it.
If you know Medford, OR, we’re just off Highway 5 on 668 pretty acres between Quail Point Golf Course to the northwest and Centennial Golf Course to the southeast. If you’re not familiar with Medford, we’re nestled in Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley between the Cascade and Siskiyou Mountains. Come see us sometime.
The key word here is “choices.” We’ve got apartments with views, and cottages with views. Choose your style of living, choose your floor plan, choose what kind of sunrises and sunsets you want to enjoy every day—heck, you can even choose to customize a lot of things in your living space.
Unlike a lot of other senior living communities out there, we’re very transparent about the price of living here. That’s because we think you should know what you’re paying for compared to everything you get when you become a resident. We have a great page showing you the prices, which explains the relationship between cost and value. Something else we believe the pricing page illustrates is the value you get from choosing to live at a one-of-a-kind Life Plan Community, which not only provides access to hundreds of unique amenities at an unbeatable price, but also provides the peace of mind that advanced care is always available if you ever happen to need it.
We make it easy. You can keep poking around this website, which is chock-full of good information. You can join us for an upcoming event on our campus, or schedule your very own personal visit. If you’re the chatty type, call us at 541-857-7214—we’ll even send you something in the mail (sorry, we should manage your expectations: We’ll send a community brochure, not something fun from Amazon). We really can’t wait to have a conversation, because if you’ve read this far, you sound like our kind of person. And we just might be your kind of community.
